This elegant, spacious, sunny apartment has modern comforts though it is in a period building in historic Lisbon. Tall ceilings, abundant light through lovely tall windows which look out to small verandas overlooking the Praça de São Paulo, a beautiful square with a church. Its located very close to the river and the charming districts of Chiado, Bairro Alto, Alfama, and Baixa.

Within 2 minutes´ walk, be at the river, metro/underground, Lisbon´s largest market, train to Estoril/Cascais, several supermarkets and various restaurants and cafés. Within 5 minutes walk be in Chiado, Bairro Alto, Praça do Comércio, theatres, elegant shops, viewpoints over historic Lisbon and the castle.

This is a beautifully restored apartment, with 3 bedrooms sleeping up to 6 adults. All areas have high ceiling (about 3.2 meters), and the living room and one bedroom have ornate stucco on the ceiling. Lots of sunlight as it faces west to the church. The kitchen is large and fully equipped and open to the dining area providing an excellent large space to enjoy or entertain. 2 WCs with shower including a bathtub.

The apartment is equipped with air conditioning throughout for heating or cooling, has free interent (wifi or ethernet) and cable with international channels through a brand new LED HD Sony TV. The kitchen has all new appliances. The apartment has recently been fully renovated and decorated to very elegant style.

It is on a 1st floor (no lift). No smoking, please. There is a brand new municipal car park next to the Mercado da Ribeira (market), 4 minutes´ walk away. Full day parking (maximum price): 12.50 Euros.

The apartment is privately owned by us, a professional couple with a few apartments we have done up ourselves and take great pride and happiness in making available to guests. We will receive you personally and show you around and how everything works, point you in the direction of places you want to visit, and tell you about the neighborhood.

So that you´re ready to go when you arrive, we´ve got a few "starters" in the kitchen... salt, olive oil, vinegar, bottle of water, etc. But there is a supermarket literally across the street open till late every day (with fresh bread).

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send the property manager a message.

If the property manager agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
