A stones throw from the open forest and a short stroll from Lyndhurst’s historic high street, Apple Cottage is a well appointed victorian property. perfect for exploring the New Forest and all it has to offer.

The New Forest is famous for its ponies, donkeys, cattle, pigs and other species of wildlife and there are many miles of cycle and walking trails for you to enjoy.

A new holiday let for Summer 2020, Apple Cottage boasts: 3 bedrooms (one downstairs), each with its own individual style and oversized bedding; a light and airy lounge / dining room with a wood burning stove for those cooler evenings and a modern kitchen with a full range of integrated appliances

There is also a downstairs cloak room, utility area and boot room – ideal for storing those walking shoes, buggies and other holiday essentials.

Outside there is a fully enclosed sunny patio, a shed for bike storage and an off road parking space.

Well behaved dogs are welcome at Apple Cottage, after all it would be a shame for them to miss out on the fabulous long walks that on the doorstep!

Why can't I call Julie (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Julie (the owner) a message.

If Julie (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
