1 Stone Cottages is situated on the green in the middle of the quiet unspoilt village of Middleton. It is in a perfect position for exploring all the surrounding coastal villages of Southwold, Walberswick, Dunwich and Aldeburgh. Middleton is a picturesque village with a lovely church with an interesting historical past. There is also a village pub that serves great food and local beer and keeps up all the old local traditions. The cottage itself has been beautifully renovated and provides a comfortable base for your holiday.

The East Anglia / Suffolk region
Suffolk is a stunning county with some of the most beautiful coastlines anywhere in the UK.
The Sandlings area gives you direct access to thousands of acres of rare gorse and heather covered common land interspersed with woodland. This amazing area of lowland heaths, with the most interesting stretch following the coastal strip between Southwold and Aldeburgh, allow for relaxing days filled with walking, cycling and bird watching. Indeed, the Sandlings are of world importance as this type of habitat is only found in North West Europe.
Middleton area
Middleton is a beautiful village with elegant church, lovely central green and popular thatched pub. It is off the beaten track with no through traffic and comprises pretty cottages grouped around the green and overlooked by the church - it is one of Suffolk's best kept secrets. Minsmere nature reserve is only 3.5 miles away (less by foot), Dunwich and the coast four miles, Southwold ten miles, Aldeburgh seven miles.

Norwich International is offers a number of cheap flights with flybee. Stanstead is 80km away and offers a wide range of flights both domestically and internationally with many providers including Ryan air and British airways.
