From the owner

Quayside Cottage is a small terraced house built in 1884! It is less than a 5 minute walk to Poole Quay, restaurants, shops, supermarkets, high street and the local church is just around the corner! Beaches and parks are just a short walk away too. Poole Train Station is a 10 minute walk away and bus stops nearby. Just down the road from Poole's Ferry Port to France. Main locations of RNLI and Sunseeker are both less than a 5 minute walk from the cottage.

The cottage includes free Superfast Virgin Media Wi-Fi throughout.

The cottage offers 2 bedrooms (both first floor), the first bedroom comprising of a King Sized Bed, however this can be converted to 2 Single Beds if required.

The second bedroom comprising of one Double Bed. Both bedrooms have televisions, wardrobe space with hangers and room for suitcases and dressing space.

2 Bathrooms (1 on the ground floor with a shower and one on the 1st floor with a bath and shower.)

A fully equipped kitchen (Coffee Machine uses Coffee Pods/Pads which can be bought online at websites such as Amazon. Model: Philips Senseo and Senseo/ Douwe pods/pads for example are compatible.)

A utility space with a washing machine, iron and ironing board. Laundry basket and pegs.

A spacious dining area (with a few toys and games in the cupboards for fun games nights!) This space also has a desk for working on the go! Sitting room, including a Smart TV, with HD channels and has the option of Netflix (if own account used to log in.) An electric wood burner is set in an original fireplace for cosy nights in too.

A private garden with an outdoor dining set on a decked area and bistro set separately to enjoy sunny barbecues (briquettes not included.) The garden also includes a lockable shed for bike/equipment storage (surfboards/paddleboards etc.) Sun loungers are also kept here. The garden also has a washing line.

The cottage has a free guaranteed parking space on the cottage’s front drive for one car only. (If you have a long car, there may be a slight overhang which is absolutely fine as it’s only residents that use this parking area and are aware.) Not suitable for Vans/Campervans/Trailers/ Does NOT currently support Electric Cars.

The cottage also has free residents parking on a tarmac area outside of the property which you are more than welcome to park on too as residents of Quayside Cottage: More than one car is allowed here for multiple guests, however PLEASE NOTE THESE PARTICULAR SPACES ARE NOT GUARANTEED for any extra cars as the neighbours have multiple cars, but they do come and go. (On the rare occurrence there isn’t space here for any extra cars you may have during your stay, there is a car park just around the corner or free short stay parking to the side of the cottages.)

For The Duration Of Your Stay: One Bath Towel and One Face Towel per guest is provided. Tea towels, toilet roll, bin liners and hand wash. Bed linen is provided per stay. Beach towels are also provided.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Lucy (the owner) a message.

If Lucy (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
