“Brilliant cottage” A great cosy cottage in a fantastic location. Countless walks from the front door, including Moel Siabod (you're already part way up!) and the Glyderau. The cottage itself is and very well presented and equipped. I had no need to contact the owners as everything I needed was there and they had done a great job in making it welcoming and ready for a stay.

“Excellent” It was our first time staying in a cabin like this, we just wanted to spend some time as a family and thought this was the place. The cabin was located in a very nice quiet place it had everything we needed, it was very warm and cozy. We went out for walks, we especially enjoyed night walks underneath the stars where we don’t get a lot of them back in London City life. The weather was better than we expected, we saw a bit of snow, it got a little frosty for couple of days but it didn’t bother us and it was rain and usual cold weather. We visited various places like the Sygun copper mine, Zip world Bounce caverns, Beddgelert, Gelert’s grave, Harlech castle and beach, we also had a journey of 2 hours and visited Liverpool # it was worth it #. We had a great week, we will definitely go back again.

“Cosy quiet cottage with lovely owners set within easy driving distance to nearby attractions.” A very warm and friendly welcome from Sheena and Ian when we arrived and throughout our stay. Well equiped cosy cottage ideal for family of four. Children loved the bunk beds. In a lovely setting. Great location for visiting nearby attractions - Slate mine, Portmeirion, Mt Snowdon, Porthmadog beach to name a few. Wi-fi available. Had a fantastic time and superb weather. Thank you.

“Fantastic property, loved the decking area to the rear, amazing views and private.” Spent an amazing week at this property. The accommodation was everything we had hoped for. Spent so much time in the decking area to the rear. We brought our Snoodle called Ted, and he really enjoyed himself too. The welcome pack was a nice touch, really enjoyed the cake. We spent much of the week walking and exploring locally, would suggest purchasing an OS map and explore some of the disused slate workings in the surrounding mountains. If you are into mountain biking its well worth booking onto the uplift at Antor Stiniog, £29 for the day and as many runs as you can handle. We also visited Shell Island which I would highly recommend on a nice day.

“Bliss” Great, not so little, Welsh cottage. Seven of us booked in for four nights, had a great time. Cozy cottage vibe, but enough room so that it never felt cramped. Everything you could want for a relaxing getaway, no TV policy was the icing on the cake, perfect. Stunning views of Snowdonia & Dolwyddelan Castle was well worth a visit even though interior is still closed to public. Trains are within easy walking distance, but be warned go on first train as last trains back in either direction, are afternoon rather than evening. Village pub is handy for a pint, good selection reasonable prices, but sadly not serving food anymore.

“Stunning views” First of all the location is stunning. The views from our kitchen window and sitting room were breathtaking. Lots of things to do around, very peaceful and quiet. The kitchen has everything you could wish for from utensils to crockery, cleaning products, kitchen towels, bin bags and anything you could think of. There is a working washing machine and tumble drier which came very useful, in an unfortunate way. There are 2 tv's one in the sitting room one in the main bedroom with freeview. Lots of games available and an old console and dvd reader as well. Now, the bad part.It was only one: cleanliness. The lodge was far from clean and had to go around with disinfectant wipes and the hoover as it seems that no effort was done to clean after the last guests. There were rests and breadcrumbs on teh kitchen table I assume after previous breakfast/lunch. I have called before leaving one of the owners to ask about bed linen and he has been the most useful and friendly chap over the phone. However, when we got there, the bed linens have been slept and have not been changed. It was obvious as marks on the bed as well as hairs were laying on the beds and pillows. Had to strip bare the beds, wash them and dry them.Bed protector was badly stained. Don t know what we would have done have we not had a washing machine and a drier. If we would have known about this we would still have come but would have been prepared with our own bed linings. But we didn't which was disappointing. I assume that the owners don't really know about the extend to which the lodge is cleaned and should have a word with the cleaning company as this is a big let down considering the place they have there, which is stunning. All in all it was a wonderful break, thank you Mark and Craig!

“Hauntingly Beautiful” My wife Sammi and I love places that have history, Tal y Llyn Chapel oozes it. Peter has lovingly restored the chapel with great care not to destroy the true beauty of such an historic building. He was very informative and helpful but also gave us the time and space to explore this wonderful area. I will be definitely be returning.

Hendre Wen
Spacious , spotless and a great location

This was one of the best holiday cottages we’ve stayed in. Very well equipped and immaculately clean. Lots of space and plenty of private parking which is a bonus. Less than 10 minutes walk into town so a great location. Handy tips and walking guided left by the owner. Would certainly stay here again.see more

Siabod holiday cottages

The Landllord, Elwyn, was friendly and approachable. He pointed me up the hill to the accommodation. It's a quiet location, just 3 cottages in all, set on a hillside, overlooking the valley towards Betws-y-Coed. The accommodation is very well decorated and well appointed. When I went in it was warm and welcoming. Its an ideal place for a couple that enjoy walking or for a base to explore Snowdonia. I would return and would recommend Siabod Holiday cottages highly.see more

Cae Rhedyn
Idyllic rural retreat

We loved our stay at Cae Rhedyn. Tim and Liz are excellent hosts and they have renovated and furnished the cottage to a very high standard. Everything was exceptionally clean and tidy and the fire was laid, ready for our arrival. There is some fantastic walking just out the door. You can get to Llanberis on foot in about 45 minutes. If you need a rest after tackling Glydr Fach or one of the other local peaks do visit the National Slate Museum. It’s free to visit and offers some fascinating insights into the local history.see more
Chalet Ty Cerrig
Beautiful chalet

The chalet was perfect! Cosy, clean and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed the fire pit and having barbecues in the evenings. Stunning views and the forest walk was lovely. In a great location as it was so peaceful but less than 10 mins drive to the local shops and village. Richard and Luned were so kind and welcoming and even left some firewood for us. Our dog loved running around the garden with lovely Skye and Thorn. Would recommend to anyone and would love to come back!!see more
