The property is situated perfectly for Chester Zoo, Cheshire Oaks and Chester City Centre which can all be reached in 10 minutes drive.

The property is also ideally situated for North Wales and Snowdonia and the following attractions can all be reached in a 60 minutes drive. Experience climbing, walking, cycling, Zip World, , bounce below, surfing and caving all in less than an hours drive

The Tack Room is a family run business and as such our primary concern is to ensure our guests experience a genuinely unique venue which is cleaned and maintained by the owners themselves. We pride ourselves on attention to detail and aim to provide our guests with the personal touch looking after their every need from the initial booking enquiry, to ensuring The Tack Room is spotlessly clean and greeting guests with a warm welcome. As there is no agent involved no additional booking fee is charged.

The Tack Room has recently been renovated and is new for the 2014 season. This once disused barn / stable has been transformed into the most beautiful and stylish two bedroom two en-suite getaway perfect for either two couples or a family sleeping a maximum of five. If you are looking for a character property which retains all of its original charm while providing 5 star luxury then you have found what you are looking for. 

HOUSE DESCRIPTION

When entering the building you will notice the large lobby area off which there is a downstairs wc and separate utility room with washing machine, drying facilities and space to hang coats and store boots and wellies. This spacious area is furnished with an oak console table accessorized with an antique persian rug, mirror and lamps.

On the ground floor this home provides cosy open plan living at its best with under floor heating throughout. The spacious lounge has seating for five guests, 32 inch flat screen television, DVD and CD player along with an extensive listening collection and library.

The large kitchen is designed to impress with its granite worktops large dining table and reading corner for the traveller who wishes to take time out for themselves. The kitchen has everything you could need including a gas 7 burner double oven range cooker, dishwasher, integral fridge and freezer, 4 toaster, hob kettle and every utensil imaginable is provided.

The second floor comprises of 2 individually designed bedrooms both with modern en-suite shower rooms.

Bedroom 1 has a super-king sized high quality bed which can be transformed into a twin room providing two individual three quarter beds, matching bed side tables, dressing table, free standing wardrobe and chair completes this room.

Bedroom 2 has a king size bed with a 2000 spring mattress on a high quality sprung metal bed frame along with matching bedside tables, dressing table, built in wardrobes and chair to complete the room.

A fold out z-bed suitable for either a child or adult can be provided to allow a fifth traveller.

 

Ideal for families no need to bring the kitchen sink just request the use of any of these items free of charge - high chair, stair gate, travel cot, baby car seat, cot pram or buggy all with rain covers.

The Tack Room also provides a beautiful garden area laid to lawn with flower beds bursting with all year round colour along with a wooden dinning table and chairs plus parasol.

Ample parking for 2 cars is provided along with your own key code gate into your private garden.

I will consider taking one small house trained and well behaved dog to the property. The dog is not allowed up stairs, please bring your own bedding and ensure the dog paws are cleaned on entry. Obviously please clean up any dog mess as you go.
Dogs are not allowed to be left in the house alone and acceptance of a dog is at my discretion.

Once you are settled in I would be grateful if you could remove your shoes in the property

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Clare (the owner) a message.

If Clare (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
