Set in the heartland of Royal County Meath close to the Hill of Tara once the historic seat of the High Kings of Ireland.

Smithstown House dates back to circa 1720

Offering very comfortable self catering accommodation for 6 people.

Surrounded by peace and tranquility with lots of amenities for young and old.

On the doorstep of the vibrant city of Dublin.

The accommodation is fresh and newly renovated with a large living room, separate kitchen and two bathrooms.

There are 4 bedrooms sleeping 6 people. The main bedroom is fitted with a king sized bed, there is a twin bedroom, and a further two single bedrooms.

Smithstown House is surrounded by wonderful spacious grounds with lovely views across the plains of Co Meath.

Peace and tranquillity abound with nothing to be heard but bird song.

Children and adults alike can enjoy the peace, quietness in a beautiful safe environment.

There is a walled in garden area completely safe and secure for children and adults. In the enclosed garden area there is a tennis net, goal posts, sand pit, swing, tables chairs and BBQ

We have free off street secure parking with enough space to park even a ship !

Bicycles are available too and some helmets.

TV, DVDs and a selection of books and magazines in situ.

Beautiful Country Farmhouse and fabulous old English country garden enhanced by old ruins, interesting nice surprises around every corner of the garden, we absolutely loved staying here.

good accommodation in lovely grounds

house was all that we needed and enough room. Host was very accommodating about our changing travel plans. Great to have use of bikes too.
