We have three beautifully finished cottages in the heart of Lanchester, Durham. Cottage 2 has a good size, fully furnished kitchen, with patio doors into the garden. The lounge is incredibly comfortable, perfect to relax in after long walks! The views are breathtaking throughout the seasons. Making this the perfect year-round get away.

The cottages offer a little haven of tranquillity but are close enough to the hustle and bustle of Newcastle (just 16 miles) and of course, the picturesque City of Durham, which is just 8 miles down the road. Perfect to make your trip extra special if you are visiting family at the university.

You will be situated close to parks, restaurants (with fantastic dining!) And the region is oozing with art and culture! This is sure to provide you with lots of day trips out during your stay.

I think you’ll love my place because of the cosiness, the views, the location, and the people. The cottage is finished to a high standard, to ensure you have a comfortable stay all year round. It is perfect for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families (with kids), big groups, and furry friends (pets). Whatever your getaway, this is your perfect rural retreat in the heart of the Great British Countryside
