North Bay is home to Peasholm Park, the Sea life Center and a long stretch of sandy beach. The colourful promenade of the South Bay is lined with inns, tea rooms gift shops and amusement palaces. Scarborough boasts its very own theatre where plays by the acclaimed Alan Ayckbourn can be enjoyed, and an open air theatre which plays host to many acclaimed singers and bands from the pop and classical arena.
