Swallows Cottage (formally Bogany Cottage) is situated on the beautiful island of Bute. Sitting in its own grounds, Swallows, is a traditional stone built cottage which sleeps 4. The sea is just two hundred yards in front of the cottage, and Rothesay town centre is an easy 10 minutes walk. The cottage overlooks the sea with views up to Loch Striven and towards the Kyles of Bute. There is ample private parking, and a large enclosed garden with garden furniture. The cottage is furnished to a very high standard and offers our guests exceptional accommodation, which is cosy and yet light and airy. The sitting room/kitchen are combined & very spacious with a vaulted ceiling and complemented by a central log burner (logs supplied for the first 2 nights.) The sitting area is beautifully furnished with 2 fabulous leather reclining sofas , TV, Apple tv, & WIFI. The kitchen area is equipped to a very high standard and incorporates fully integrated appliances.

There are two double bedrooms, one with a king size bed looking out to sea and the second with twin beds overlooking the garden. Both are equipped with beautiful wooden bedroom furniture, luxury bed linen and towels. The bathroom is complete with shower over the bath. The cottage has under floor heating with independent thermostats in each room. The property affords easy access for disabled guests with a ramp to the front door, wide internal doors and wooden flooring in the entrance hall, sitting room & kitchen.We offer, free of charge, a weekly cleaning service for guests staying for 1 week or more. We are happy to accept well behaved dogs (max2) for a small extra charge, please contact us to arrange this facility.
