**MELIA DUNAS BEACH AWARD WINNING VILLA **

LARGE “Type A “ 3 bedroom/ 3 bathroom.

The added attraction about this villa is that it is on the largest, most spacious Resort of the three in a row Meliá complexes in Sal. With that, it’s other uniqueness is undoubtedly that it is one of the few private villas which is not overlooked, and has the privilege of being in an all-day-long sunshine location.

The beach is only 150 metres away from the front door!

Dunas Beach Resort boasts seven restaurants, numerous bars ( including piano/ champagne/ swim up bars ) an amphitheater , kids play areas, boutiques, a fully equipped gymnasium, a massage and spa area, plus many more. It is possible to purchase all inclusive food and drink packages ( and access to the private Resort swimming pools/ facilities ) at Melia hotel reception. They are of the coloured wrist band type ( to identify guests, depending on their experience level ).

It is equipped with mosquito screen windows. They prove invaluable, when wanting fresh breeze flowing in through windows/patios. The hustle and bustle of Santa Maria town is only 5 minutes away by taxi, at a low cost of only €3.

So glad you, like most guests, enjoyed yourselves Marieke. The pools aren’t heated by electricity for a number of reasons. One is that it is sunny all year round in Cape Verde and they are naturally heated by the daily sunshine. Another is that the cost of running them is very expensive. My advice to guests requiring an excellent WiFi signal in and around the villa is to purchase a disposable mobile router with as much data as required. This costs around €10 per day, which when divided between four people using it is only €2.50 each for a very strong reliable private signal....which, of course, can be used when sunbathing beside the pool ! :) Regards Andrew
